I have been teaching and choreographing for over 15 years. My teaching isn’t focused on being the most technical or perfect, but on ensuring that everyone feels confident and proud of what they’re doing. I’ve developed a knack for breaking down dance into simple and understandable language. When I noticed there weren’t many studios catering to absolute beginners—people who just want to stop feeling like they have two left feet—I knew I had to create a space for them. That’s how Anyone Can Dance was born: a place where confidence and joy take center stage.
My teaching resume spans from ages 3-85. Preschool programs, high school and middle school dance programs, senior center workshops, theaters and more. My professional career also includes being a musical theater actress for over 10 years., with performances in shows like the national tour of Fame, Something Rotten, On Your Feet, In the Heights, and many others.

Ideal for couples who want personalized choreography. You’ll receive custom moves tailored to you, including introductions, endings, spins, dips, and lifts if desired. This package helps build confidence on the dance floor, offers great photo opportunities, and includes videos from your lessons for practice at home.
Nailed It Package
Five 1-Hour Lessons
Perfect for couples wanting extra practice, this package builds on the Comfort Package with additional time to boost your confidence on the dance floor as well as work on parent dances if desired.
All Star Package
Seven 1-Hour Lessons
This package is great for couples with a bit more time who want unlimited choreography. It includes free music edits to get the perfect version of your song.
If you feel confident earlier than expected, use the final lesson for your mother/father dance.

We loved our classes with Emily! We booked the Crash Course package (2 90-minute sessions) given our timing leading up to our wedding. Emily asked us what we were looking for and gave us what we wanted—a fun, choreographed routine that was filmed after each session so that we could practice a bunch on our own. Emily was great to work with, funny, and catered to our different dance experiences. She was very quick to text us back with a helpful video when we couldn’t remember how to best do a certain step when we were practicing. The 90 minute classes flew by. I’d highly recommend taking classes with Emily if you want to feel prepared for a first dance that is more involved than step-touch-step-touch. Also, her rates are very reasonable! Seriously just book her. Out of all of the things we had to plan for our wedding, this was pure joy.

We contacted Emily to learn a first dance for our wedding. I travel frequently for work and a flexible instructor was a must. Emily offered a virtual tutorial class which was great for learning the basics. She then designed a unique dance with every turn, lift, and pacing we wanted. She recorded a wonderful how to which gave us all the tools for success. We then were able to schedule 4 in person sessions to fine tune all of our steps and the dance. The whole process was super easy to navigate and she broke down instruction in such a digestible way. We couldn’t be happier with her, the experience, and how our dance turned out. We absolutely adored working with Emily. She is the most incredible teacher and made the whole experience fun, easy to learn, and tailored to what we wanted for our first dance.
Firstly she just has the most radiant personality that makes you instantly at ease the second you meet her. She has a magical ability to listen to your first dance song and come up with the perfect choreography even if she hasn’t heard the song before. The way she teaches step by step and records you at the end of each lesson so you can practice and refer back to the correct steps works super well.
We would recommend her to anyone and if you’re looking for someone for guidance with your first dance, definitely go with Emily.
